1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all membership applications, funeral policies, and services offered by Remmogo Retlotlegile Burials. By applying for membership, paying premiums, or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Membership is open to individuals aged 18–75 years.

2.2 Age groups are classified as:

• 18–65 years
• 65–75 years

2.3 Applicants must submit valid identification and accurate personal information.

2.4 The Company may decline membership if false or incomplete information is provided.

3. Waiting Periods

3.1 Natural Death

• Ages 18–74: 6 months waiting period
• Ages 75–84: 12 months waiting period

3.2 Suicide

• Mandatory 24-month waiting period

No claims will be accepted if the death occurs within any applicable waiting period.

4. Premium Payments

• Premiums are payable monthly and in advance.
• No grace period applies to missed payments.
• A policy lapses immediately when premiums are not paid on time.
• Reinstated policies will have a 3-month waiting trial period.
• Premium adjustments may occur annually with prior notice.

5. Claims Process

• Claims must be reported within 48 hours.
• Required documentation includes: ID copies, death certificate, BI-1663, police report (if needed).
• Missing documents may delay or invalidate the claim.
• All claims undergo verification before approval.

6. Exclusions

The Company will not cover claims involving:

• Fraud or misrepresentation
• Suicide within the first 24 months
• Death during criminal activities
• Dangerous or illegal acts
• War, terrorism, or natural disasters (unless stated)

7. Dependants

• Dependants may be added subject to age and premium requirements.
• The Company may request proof of relationship.
• Dependants are covered only after applicable waiting periods.

8. Service Scope

The Company offers burial, cremation, body preparation, transportation, tents, flowers, and more depending on package selection.

• Service availability may vary by region.
• We may work with approved partners to deliver certain services.

9. Cancellation

• Members may cancel at any time with written notice.
• No refunds for premiums already paid.
• Cancellations immediately stop all benefits.

10. Company Rights

• We may adjust terms, prices, or benefits with prior notice.
• We may reject applications or cancel policies due to fraud or non-payment.
• We may withhold services if payments or documents are incomplete.

11. Member Responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal information.
• Pay premiums on time.
• Update the Company when information changes.
• Follow all claim and membership procedures.

12. Data Protection

• Your personal information is kept confidential.
• Data may be used for verification or legal compliance.
• The Company does not sell client information.

13. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for delays caused by government or external factors.
• Our liability is limited to the benefits in your selected package.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. Acceptance

By signing the application form or paying premiums, the member acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.
